Well I did it!
Well I finished the short story for the contest and submitted it today. I am nervous but at least I entered. I liked the story even if it doesn’t win and I will submit it elsewhere is it doesn’t win. Today was the day to submit and I did! Now to sit and wait for the winners announcement which will be a while but I have plenty of other things to do while I wait.
To keep my mind off of the contest, I will write my articles every day like I do anyway. I will write in my blogs like I do everyday. I will write an Unsent Letter every day and write one magazine submission every day. Oh and I will procrastinate with the rest of the group at the Accentuate Writers Forum. Think I can keep my mind off of the contest without going crazy? I think I can.
When the winners are announced I will post here and hopefully I will be one of them. Wish me luck!
